This is friggin cool. I want more shit like this! I couldn't help but think of string theory when I saw the "in-grown hairs." I know that theory is now on the rocks in terms of its scientific validity but visually its looks like the graphics often used to depict that theory. Thanks for posting again!
Glad you liked the post, I thought the idea of seeing magnetic fields was an incredible idea. I don't know if I'd say that the scientific validity of string theory is on the rocks. It's a theory that provides a great deal of potential explanations. It is yet to be confirmed by much empirical data, but it hasn't been around that long. Only time will tell.
